Bomb scare in JODHUR, India

This is such cruel action on the part of someone playing a prank. People were given false information as to the threat of a bomb scare that led people to panic; as a result a lot of lives were lost. These were peace-loving people that were at their temple on Tuesday, September 30 praying and once the doors opened, the chaos broke out. Leaving people to trample one another and close to 200 people were trampled to death. There were dozens of people lying on sidewalks, children crying over their parents body. One child sat on the ground next to the body of a woman, rubbing her forehead and crying "Mother, Mother." The chaos was made worse by the fact there was a power outage at the time.

The reasons for the hightened panic was due to the fact that India has been hit by a spate of bomb attacks. The latest explosions Monday night in the western cities of Malegaon and Modasa killed six people and wounded 45. In August, 145 people were killed when rumors of an avalanche sparked a stampede at a hilltop temple in northern India. Life wasted for what?
