Today, I got up early got dinner prepared because I have class tonight and the Professor has decided that the class ends when she says not the actual time 8:50 p.m. but 9:30 p.m. So, I get home at 10:00 p.m. and the girls are already asleep. I do not get to say goodnight to them, but I kiss them when I get in, it’s just not the same. Then just have to wait to see them in the morning, and it’s business as usual. Well, school is back in session until next week when they have another day off due to the Jewish holiday (Yom Kippur). This month alone they have like 10 days. Is anyone working in the schools this month? They get the whole summer off and as soon as school gets back in session it’s holidays all over the place. What do the parents that do not have daycares for their children do? Can’t take off from work, because your child is home. How does the bills get paid?
Also, this morning I managed to wash my daughter’s hair she has been bugging me all week. So, I told her last night that if you get up early enough I would be able to do it this morning. She is funny, she sets the alarm for 8:00 a.m. and we got it done, blow-dried and everything. Now, she is looking fabulous and she can stop bugging me finally. It’s hard trying to fit everything in my schedule when it comes to the three girls, but somehow it gets done with determination, drive and of course the strength to go on with each passing day. My husband calls me Superwoman; like the Alicia Keys song. Sometimes I feel that way, but it’s just apart of who I am. Having the ability to get things done, it may not be in a timely fashion. Just get it done, that my motto.
