The children have been off for the past two days due to the Jewish holiday (Rosh Hashanah). Yesterday while at work they called me with some nonsense. Would you believe that the six year old made the 12-year-old cry? What is that all about, she is telling me that the baby always gets her way? Jasmine the 12-year-old took away her bear and would not give it back. I had to explain to her that you do not give someone something and keep taking it back when they do something you do not like. If that were the case every time they did something I would have to do the same, which I don’t of course. Then in the interim I also had to let her know that there are more important and pressing matters going on in the world today than her feelings.
For instance, her father works on Wall Street where the entire economic crisis is taking effect; right now he doesn’t know if he will have a job at the end of this month (October).

Additionally, when you love someone there are times when you have disagreements and just deal with it. Just avoid her as much as you possible can. So, I allowed her to take solace in my room until she calms down, because she was hysterically crying. Can you believe that? I still can’t! The problem is they pay Kayla (6 yr. Old) entirely too much attention. STOP!!!!!!
